Cremation services
Our Limitless Sea Burials Client Coordinator, Zoë Johnson, is available to assist you with this part of the process. For direct cremation services, you can contact Funeral Home Director Gina Landerholm at funeralalt@gmail.com . She can assist you with the cremation process and answer any of your pre/postdisposition questions.
Attended Ash Scattering Service - Starting at $899
- Our Captain, Miguel Suarez, is a qualified mariner with over 28 years of maritime experience, including his service in the Merchant Marines as well as with at-sea ash scattering services with local funeral homes and the Neptune Society
- Ceremonies take place about our luxury yacht with comfortable seating and serene views of the Puget Sound
- Beautiful fresh flower arrangements are provided for the service to scatter after the ashes are released into the water
- Refreshments and snacks can be selected based on the package chosen
- Play the music of your choice through our surround sound stereo system
- We offer a memorial presentation that can be displayed on our TV set (this presentation has an additional fee of $125 and must be selected a week in advance so we have time to collect photographs)
- You receive an Ash Scattering Certificate with the exact coordinates where the ceremony took place within a week following the service
- Photography of the ceremony is available for an additional $50 and photos are sent within the week following the service along with the certificate
- Biodegradable Urns are available for purchase prior to the ceremony and we fill the urn for the family
- Farewell words and a poem are read by our Captain at the time of the ceremony
- Scattering ceremonies take approximately 2 hours from dock to dock, with the scattering ceremony taking place around the hour mark
- Additional time is available upon request for an additional $199/hour
Unattended Ash Scattering Services -$400
- If attending the scattering ceremony in person is not possible, we offer the option to send the ashes directly to us via USPS or you can let the funeral home that performed the cremation know to send the ashes to Limitless Sea Burials
- If the funeral home is local, we also offer to pick up the ashes directly from the facility
- We conduct unattended scattering ceremonies with the same respect and professionalism as with attended scattering ceremonies
- All unattended scattering ceremonies include farewell words, a moment of silence, and flowers scattered by our crew after the ashes have been respectfully delivered to the Puget Sound
- Your family can make personalized requests and instructions so that the ceremony is in accordance with final wishes
- We provide an Ash Scattering Certificate with the exact coordinates where the ceremony took place within a week following the service
- Photography of the ceremony is also available for unattended ash scattering services as proof of completion. Photo and e Ash Scattering Certificate will be provided within the week.

Compliance with Vessel Safety Regulations
For your safety and the safety of our crew:
- No recreational drugs of any kind are allowed onboard the vessel, no exceptions, including Cannabis
- No weapons of any kind are allowed on board, this includes permitted weapons
- No fireworks allowed
- Kids are welcome but we need communication in advance to ensure that the appropriate life preserves are available on board
